Word Play Week

During Word Play Week we have enjoyed listening and joining in with a traditional story each day.  The children have made animal books naming the animals and thinking about the sounds they.  Some children have begun to listen carefully for initial sounds in words and with support are beginning to write them.  On Friday we were very lucky to have a visit from 'Toni's Tots' drama teacher.  The children had great fun taking part in an imaginative story about a 'Mercat'.  It was lovely to see their confidence and expressive personalities come to life!
