Attendance and punctuality
Our school target is 96%, but students should always aim for 100% as a target for attendance. The attendance register is taken at the start of each day and straight after lunch.
If your child is ill and cannot attend School
- Contact School via the school office or via the Study Bugs app by 8:55am (Click the link below)
- Please leave your child’s full name, class and reason for absence

Hall Green Infants & Nursery School timings and examples of where late marks will be used:
- Classroom doors will be open from 8:45 and close at 8:55am
- AM registration 8:55 – 9:00am
- Students who arrive between 9:00am – 9:30 are recorded as late.
- Students who arrive after 9:30 am are recorded as an unauthorised absence.
- KS1 PM registration 1:00 -1:05pm Students are late from 1:05pm.
- EYFS PM registration 11:30 – 11:35 Students are late from 11:35am
