We're Going on a Bear Hunt
The children have been listening to and taking part in activities linked to the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. The children have been learning to retell the story using small world props and have been practising saying the repetitive phrases in the book. The children have been out and about looking at nature. They have been investigating and talking about things they could find in the leaves and tree stumps.
We have been exploring maps and talking about journeys. The children have been making large group maps and small individual routes/journeys.
