Week 6

This week we are practising the reading and spelling of polysyllabic words, as well as CVC+ words. 

Practise reading the words below again encouraging your child to use their 'robot arms' and 'sound buttons'. If they feel confident encourage your child to read the words fluently. 

We have also practised the recognition and recall of previously taught graphemes and reading and writing sentences.

You could also continue to practise spelling the words by using look cover write check.

 

You could also print off the flashcards below to practise reading and spelling.
