There's a Tiger on the Train
The learning this week has been planned around the story 'There's a Tiger on the Train' written by Rebecca Cobb. The children have loved listening to the story. The children have been learning the difference between 'farm' and 'wild' animals. They enjoyed creating their own tiger faces using a paper plate and had a physical time in the garden making their own train to sit on! The children had fun making a track with the small world play for the train to travel on, we looked at curved and straight pieces to join together which led to some problem solving. The children practised writing their names and numerals on train tickets.
