World Religions

World Religion Day is celebrated every January on the third Sunday of the month. 

 

World Religion Day is celebrated to:

  • Show respect to other religions 
  • Treat each other with understanding 
  • Try and make the world a better place for everyone

 

As children, we have the right to think and believe what we choose and practice a religion.

(Article 14 - Every child has the right to think and believe what they choose and also to practise their religion, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights.)
