The Worrysaurus

This week we have been listening to the story The Worrysaurus.  It is about a dinosaur who goes out for the day to have a picnic.  He suddenly begins to get frightened and starts to worry.  He feels a little butterfly in his tummy which starts to get larger.

The children have been exploring texture by making butterflies using collage and they have explored symmetry by painting symmetrical butterflies.  We have been making maps and following trails in the garden.  The children have also experienced having a picnic too!
