The Three Little Pigs
The learning this week has been planned around the story The Three Little Pigs by Mara Alperin. The children have loved listening to and retelling the story especially the repetitive phrases! They have used their imaginative skills to make their own houses with the plastic 2D shapes and the playdough and shape cutters. The children have been exploring the textures and learning the names of the materials the Three Little Pigs used to build their houses. They have used these materials to build their own houses for the The Three Little Pigs. It has been lovely to see the children working together in the garden in a 'Big Build' task, making houses for the Little Pigs and a chimney for the Wolf to slide down.
