This half term in science we have been learning about living things and their habitats. Your homework project is to build a diorama of an animal habitat. A diorama is a miniature 3D representation of a scene. A shoebox would be a perfect place for your habitat!
Choose your favourite habitat that you have learned about this half term and create your diorama based on it. You could choose an urban, pond, woodland, coastal, rainforest, arctic, ocean or desert habitat. Think carefully about what needs to go into your diorama. Decide which animals would live there, what materials you would use to create them and the environment around them. Think about how the habitat provides the basic needs for the animals and plants that live there. You could even create a food chain within that habitat!
Please bring in your diorama or send in a photograph of your final work by Friday 28th February
Get creative and have fun!
