This week it has been Science Week. Our main focus this week has been learning about growth. On Wednesday 6th April we had a very exciting science workshop in the hall. We became scientists! A scientist came to talk to us about growth and what it means to be a scientist. We had discussions about things that grow such as seeds and things that cannot grow such as plastic objects. We took part in an experiment involving milk and food colouring. We observed closely and noticed changes that took place. At the end of the workshop, we were given a nonfiction science book. We read this at story time and found out lots of information regarding science and how we use Science on daily basis in our lives. Have a look at our workshop photos below!
