In the Half Room by Carson Ellis

On Friday we celebrated our World Book Day! We all came to school dressed as our favourite book characters, even Miss Greathead! We all looked fabulous! We took part in a range of World Book Day activities.

We also took part in a session with the author Carson Ellis. She sent us a video all the way from America to tell us about her book 'In the Half Room'. The Half Room was written by Carson and her son. Step into a curious room where everything is in half! Half a chair, half a cat...even half a person! Carson showed us how to paint half of our faces and then we all had a go using water colours. It was lots of fun.
