On Friday 30th April, we took part in the national Daily Mile Day! We went outside and completed our Daily Mile. We ran for 10 minutes and were all quite tired afterwards! We run our Daily Mile because it keeps us fit and healthy, it helps us focus in class, it is fun, and it helps us meet our daily 60 minutes of exercise.
It is recommended that children have a minimum of 60 minutes of exercise a day. 30 minutes of this should be completed in school and 30 minutes should be done outside of school. 2EG love taking part in exercise and we are all committed to having a Healthy Body and Healthy Mind as part of our school Aspirations. We love the Daily Mile!
