On Friday 19th March we raised money for Comic Relief by wearing red clothes to school. Lots of us painted our noses red too! We spent our morning learning all about why we raise money for Comic Relief and who our money helps. We found out about a little boy with cerebral palsy and how the money from Comic Relief helps him to attend a special centre with others. Whilst at the centre he takes part in lots of activities which help him to develop his strength and speech. We made links to UNICEF Article 23 which says that all children with disabilities have the right to a full and decent life with dignity and independence. We also took part in designing our own red noses for Comic Relief and completed some word searches. Have a look at the pictures below!
