Care For Your Bear Day

The children brought into school their favourite teddy to look after for the day. This was linked to our value 'caring'. They also brought in a donation of £1 to go to a charity called 'Teddy Trust.' The Teddy Trust collects teddies and soft cuddly toys from children around the UK and sends them to children who are less fortunate, such as children suffering the traumas of war or neglect.

We had great fun spending the day with our teddies. They joined us for phonics and maths and even did exercises with us in our outdoor learning area.
