We follow a programme of 'British' Values. The concept behind this is to develop children’s spiritual, social, moral and cultural development through giving them opportunities to explore the 'British' values on which our society is based and the vocabulary to express themselves. Our parents are also involved in our half-termly values and have given us some very positive feedback about the impact of our 'British' Values Education on their children’s social development.
We look at a different values each half term and this provides a focus for our Collective Worship, Religious Education and Personal and Social Education.
These are some of our values:- Aut 1: Caring and Honesty, Aut 2: Friendship and Trust, Spr 1: Respect and Patience, Spr 2: Courage and Happiness, Summer 1: Peace and Responsibility, Summer 2: Hope and Understanding.
