We started our India topic with tasting different foods. We wrote about their smell, taste and texture.
During our Science lesson, we have been learning about food chains. These are some examples of what they look like.
During DT, we were able to work together to make our own kulfi. We followed instructions and wrote about it after.
To end our India topic we celebrated with a Indian Bazaar. We danced to Indian music, looked at spices and materials, played with instruments and tasted different foods. We were given rupees to buy the food. We even got to taste our homemade kulfi.
We wore our Christmas jumpers for 'Christmas Jumper Day'. We raised money for the charity called 'Save the Children'.
We have had lots of fun this week doing Christmas activities. We have made Christmas hats, cards and calendars. We also had our Christmas party where we had a zoom meeting with Santa, did lots of dancing and eating and met Santa's elf to receive presents.
As you cannot come in and see any performances we have been working on something special for you to see.
