Attendance

At Hall Green Infant and Nursery School we monitor attendance very closely.

On the first day of your child's absence, please telephone the school on 0121 464 3082 and speak to the office staff, leave a message on our answerphone (option 1), or report it using our online App called StudyBugs.  Alternatively, you can send us an email to: attendance@hallgreen-inf.bham.sch.uk

If you haven't called in, we will send a email message to parents, followed by a phone call if we don't hear from you. If your child's attendance falls below 96% then a letter will go home informing you that their attendance is no longer 'good'. If it continues to fall, there will be more contact from the attendance team and at Parents' Evening. A child is persistently absent from school if their attendance falls below 90%. If this happens, you will receive a phone call and/or a home visit from a member of our attendance team in order to support you with improving your child's attendance.

Our attendance target is 96%,  so thank you to all those who have helped us to achieve our target.

Please find below our attendance procedures and attendance policy.
