Kingfishers had an amazing time at The RAF Museum. We were amazed by all the aircrafts we got to see so close up! The children explored and got to learn so much about flight and how it has changed over time. The 4D cinema was definitely the highlight of our day 😃

Sparkle and Shine week! ⭐️✨🌟

Sparkle and Shine Week ⭐️ has been amazing! The children have really enjoyed doing all the activities this week. It’s been a week of mindful thinking and relaxation. We started off creating our very own colour monster who would eat away all of our worries. The week has ended with sparkly clothes and lots more activities like making bears 🐻 that give cuddly hugs. 

Kingfishers have enjoyed Number Day today. We have been completing lots of activities which have been filled with lots of numbers and fun. We made clocks, had a go at a quiz ,played snakes and ladders and a number bingo. A big well done to team The Best for winning 🏆 the quiz. They worked as a team and were able to work out the answers to some super tricky questions. 

World book day was amazing! The children looked great dressed as their favourite book character. We had a day full of reading and appreciating the wonderful collection of books we have. The children did some fantastic pieces of art using chalk. They also wrote poems using facts that they had read about sea animals. Kingfishers were super lucky because the children got the opportunity to swap their book token for a book. It was definitely a day full of smiles 😃

Kingfishers loved making their vegetable wraps and fruit salad. They looked super tasty and colourful. Everyone had their chef hat on and just got stuck in. We had a little taste test and the outcome was definitely positive. There were lots of happy faces. 
 

We started science week with a bang! 
Kingfishers looked awesome in their dress up costumes. We had an amazing range of doctors, nurses, scientists, 

planets and plants. 
 

We are definitely looking forward to an amazing week 🌟

A super well done to all the children who made a poster for the competition. It was extremely difficult for the stem ambassadors to pick one winner. A big congratulations to Huzaifah who won from Kingfishers! 

It has been a lovely term of lots of learning and fun! The children have worked extremely hard and deserve a very good rest.
