Royal Air Force Museum

Dove Class had the most amazing experience at the Royal Air Force Museum. The children learned about how flight has changed over time and applied their classroom knowledge when viewing aeroplanes powered by propellers and engines. They enjoyed sitting in a cockpit and were full of excitement during their multi-sensory experience in the 4D Theatre where they sat on moving seats, had water sprayed on them and were thrilled to see the smoke effects. The children viewed a range of original RAF uniforms to develop their knowledge from First World War through to current day. They then had the opportunity to try on the uniforms.
