Arts Week

We celebrated Diwali this week. Diwali is a major Hindu festival that celebrates the new year and the victory of light over darkness. We explored shape and learnt lots about Rangoli patterns. We mixed paint to create secondary colours which we then used to colour in a 2D shape. As a class, we arranged our shapes together to create a large Rangoli pattern.
