Week 9

This week continues to teach and practise the reading and spelling of CCVCC words using previously taught digraphs, as well as CVC+ words from previous weeks. It also practises the recognition and recall of Phase Two and Three graphemes and reading and writing sentences.

 

Practise reading the words below again encouraging your child to use their 'robot arms' and 'sound buttons'. If they feel confident encourage your child to read the words fluently. 

You could also continue to practise spelling the words by using look cover write check.

You could also print off the flashcards below to practise reading and spelling.
