Week 1

We had a fantastic first week of our Healthy Mind Healthy Body Festival! We kicked off the week by learning all about healthy eating and the importance of a balanced diet. Lots of us completed our healthy eating homework and recorded all the food we ate over the weekend. We learned about different ways to have a healthy body and healthy mind. We worked in pairs to create activity dice and challenged our partners to a range of fitness activities. We took part in the sponsored Daily Mile everyday and as a school raised over £2000 for the charity 'Children on the Edge'. We also took part in activities for Wellbeing Wednesday which we really enjoyed! Have a look at some of the pictures below of the fantastic activities we took part in.
