Chairs for Baby Bear

As part of our topic Traditional Tales we had to create and build a new chair for Baby Bear after Goldilocks had broken it. We read the story 'A Chair for Baby Bear' by Kaye Umansky. The children drew their own designs including princess chairs, rainbow chairs, pirate chairs and even a monkey chair! They then practised making chairs using construction materials, including Lego, to make small chairs to fit the Baby Bear puppet. They had to make sure that their chairs had a back and big enough seat for Baby Bear to sit comfortably.
