In maths this half term, we have loved finding out all about 2D and 3D shapes. We have taken part in lots of exciting shape activities. We have made 2D and 3D shape patterns. We have worked in a team to sort shapes by different criteria such as shapes with curved sides and shapes without curved sides. We have explored the faces, edges and vertices on 3D shapes by making 3D shape nets. We also made our own 3D shapes using art straws and masking tape. This was a very big challenge but we all used our dinosaur learning behaviours and tried our best! Take a look below at our fantastic shape work in maths.
