SCIENCE WEEK

w/c 8.3.21

Our theme for Science week was ‘Space’. We have enjoyed learning all about the first British Astronaut in space - Helen Sharman. We made an ‘ice garden’ to explore what the icy cold temperatures would be like in the planets Uranus and Neptune.

We had had lots of fun being creative too, using different materials to make rockets, flying saucers and space pictures...have a look at some of our super work below.

You will also see our Space trip list which we created together as a class when we had to think about the top 10 things we would take with us in our rocket to space.

We also did astronaut training. You have to be very fit to be an astronaut so we did lots of different exercises.

We had lots of fun!
