Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is an event to raise money for a charity called Comic Relief.

We talked about how Red Nose Day can help children around the world.

Article 23 - A child with a disability has the right to live a full and decent life.

We came to school wearing out home clothes and donated 50p. We discussed how our money would be used.

If we raised...

£10 - 40 meals would go to families and children in need

£50 - a bike would be bought for a health care visitor in Ghana to help them get to homes

£100 - 10 pairs of warm shoes would be bought for children in refugee camps.

Article 24 - we have the right to best possible health care. We should have clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment.

Have a look at the pictures below to see what we have been doing to raise awareness for Red Nose Day.
