Music

At Hall Green children enjoy hands on music making and learn the music skills required of them. They also gain wider creative skills such as teamwork etc. The children experience music through a cross-curricular approach, such as dance in P.E, wake-up, shake-up, literacy - Jolly phonic songs, rhymes, number and topic songs.

At Hall Green we have visiting musicians who work with the children and give performances. Every year an Arts week is arranged in school where children participate in a wide range of activities.

Children have the opportunity to learn to play the violin and cello and to join the year 2 choir. Musical instruments are available for children to play and have fun with at lunchtimes.

Music plays an important part in assemblies and main religious festivals that the children have lots of fun in taking part.
