I Don't Like Poetry by Joshua Seigal

On Thursday, we had a live Teams session with the poet Joshua Seigal. He read us some of his poems from his book 'I Don't Like Poetry'. His book is perfect for anyone who doesn't like poetry, it will definitely change your mind! The book is full of funny poems about brothers, bottoms that have gone missing and how to make a dog. We all thought Joshua was hilarious! We wrote some poems about emotions with him. Later in the day we wrote our own versions of his poem Edible Bedroom. We also looked at the poet and author Michael Rosen. We rehearsed and performed his poem 'Chocolate'. We were each given a piece of chocolate to hold and eat during our performance!
