Welcome to our Governors' Page
Starting from September 2023, Hall Green Infant School now has its own, newly formed Governing Board.
The structure for the Governing Board is:
Governors hold a full Governing Board Meeting at least once a term. As well as this, the finance and staffing committees also meet during the term.
The Governing Body for Hall Green Infant School has the responsibility for the effective management of the school. The detailed day to day running of the school is the responsibility of the Head Teacher. The main Governing Body meet together at least once per term and the committees, staffing and finance meet separately once per term.
Our Vision:
Working together to deliver excellence for every child as we guide them along their learning journey.
The schools aim to ensure that ...
Everyone belongs and feels safe and valued; school is a place where our diverse talents are celebrated and nurtured. We develop and strengthen each child’s personal qualities including moral values and respect for all. Children make excellent progress and achieve very well. We have high expectations for every child, inspired by excellent teaching and an exciting curriculum that prepares children for an ever-changing, technological future and equips them with fundamental skills for life. We support our children and staff to be healthy - both physically and emotionally. Children develop the attitudes and strategies they need to become successful lifelong learners and understand their rights and responsibilities within the local, national and global communities.
To help achieve this we have a long-term strategic plan for school:
Outstanding achievement and progress - to consistently achieve well above the national average in terms of pupil outcomes and progress in reading, writing and maths. Excellent Teaching and Learning - to continually develop the effectiveness of teaching through high quality professional development to ensure we meet the needs of all our children so they make excellent progress. Inspirational curriculum - to continue to develop a broad and rich school curriculum that excites and engages all pupils. Staff and Pupil Wellbeing - to continue to develop effective strategies that support the health and wellbeing of pupils and staff, developing strong learning strategies throughout the school. Innovative use of resources to support children’s learning and progress.

Diversity Data Statement
To help ensure that our governing board is reflective of the community we serve, we collect and review our governors' diversity data to help inform discussion and action. We do not currently publish this information online due to the small size of our board and the risk of inadvertently identifying an individual through the publication of their personal data.
