Dragon Eyes

This half term we have been reading The Egg by M.P. Patterson. We have loved reading this book and doing lots of writing about it. We have written in the role of George and retold the story in past tense, we have written in the role of George's parents by writing a persuasive letter, and we have written a diary entry from George's perspective. We have all really enjoyed imagining ourselves as the parent of a dragon! Click below to listen to the story.

Read Aloud Story - The Egg

This is a read aloud of the story book "The Egg" written by M. P. Robertson.

As part of our learning this half term, we have made Dragon Eyes inspired by The Egg! We drew our designs paying close attention the details we would include on our final piece. Next, we made our designs out of clay. We used different tools to create the details on our piece. Once our designs were dry, we painted them and added glitter to make them look magical! We had lots of fun making our dragon eyes. Have a look at the pictures below to see the process of making our dragon eyes.
