Autumn Term

We have had lots of Christmas related fun this week. We had a Christmas party, made cards and calenders and even met Father Christmas!

Christmas Jumper Day

As part of our learning adventure, 'Hall Green'  we visited Sarehole Mill to explore how Hall Green has changed over time. We learnt about the history of the mill . We learnt about how J R R Tolkien was inspired by the mill to write his fabulous stories. We then had a a go at making our very own stories!

We had an amazing time singing and jigging to the music during our Rocksteady music assembly!

Food tasting and Sandwich making in D&T. We tasted and evaluated a range of fillings.

Retelling the Diwali story and making Rangoli patterns

We had a lovely Care for your Bear Day, taking part in a range of bear activities, we even took our Bears on our daily mile. 

Learning all about our emotions and how we can express them in different  ways.
