L.O To understand the need to be accountable
Discuss the following with your child
Make up a story about a family playing a particular game. One of the children always wins. Years later he admits to his family he only won because he always cheated. Discuss how they would feel if they were in that family. Ask children to think about if they have ever cheated. Is it ever acceptable to cheat?
Look at and discuss the “feelings” cards happy, proud, content, sad, ashamed, embarrassed, unworthy. Which cards would the children attribute to a true champion and which to a champion who had cheated?
Write or stick the associated feelings around the two champions images.
