Watch Numberblocks S2 (Eight).

Make a Number 8 Poster. What facts do you know about number 8? Here are a few to get you started......

  • 8 is one more than 7
  • 7 is one less than 8
  • A spider had 8 legs

Have a go at practising the formation of number 8. Remember to stick your sheet in your book.

You are now going to do some sorting just like with number 8. In the images below you have different representations of number 8. You have dots, fingers, cubes or dice. Remember to look and count carefully and sort the pictures into 8 and not 8.

Stick them down onto the right column on the sheet provided below and stick your sheet inside your book!
