Use the equipment from yesterday. Children to roll a dice and put that many counters on the first tens frame. Roll the dice again and put that many counters on the second tens frame. Write down the number sentence For example 6 + 5 = 11. Move the counters on the second tens frame to make the total 10 and see 6 + 5 = 11 is the same as 10 + 1 =1
SEN - Children to roll a dice and put that many counters on the first tens frame. Roll the dice again and put that many counters on the second tens frame. Write down the number sentence and work out the total.
