Learning objective: I know what is included in the beginning of a story
Read the beginning of the story, either on the PowerPoint or video. Focus on who is in the story, the setting and the problem. Children know that this is where the beginning ends and the middle of a story starts.
Main activity: Using pictures from the book children to sort into order on each day to create their own story board for (ongoing over the 3 days). Write a brief sentence to go with each picture.
