COVID-19 Advice and Information

Government Travel Guidance

Please avoid public transport if you can and aim to walk or cycle to school. See government guidance below:

Re opening of school

As of the 10th June 2020 some children will begin the transition back into school.  As the school site will look and operate differently there have been a number of adjustments to our policies and more notably our home school agreement.  By sending your child to school as a family you will be agreeing to the following policy adjustments to ensure the safety and of all our school community.

In light of Covid-19 guidelines, our school has implemented a one-way system when dropping off and collecting children each day, and we are limiting families to only 1 adult to drop off and collect.

You MUST enter via the Petersfield Road entrance and exit via the Stratford road exit.

Drop off and collection times are slightly staggered, so if you have informed school that your child is returning to school, please check the timings of your child's "Bubble" below:

You can help to slow the spread of Coronavirus!

Make sure you and your children follow these general principles to prevent spreading any respiratory virus:

  • Wash your hands often – with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitiser if soap and water aren’t available.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you feel unwell, stay at home and don’t attend work or school.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a bin.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in the home.
  • If you’re worried about your symptoms, please call NHS 111 – don’t go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.
