We welcome and engage parents in school in a variety of ways. Parents come into school to help in the classrooms, the library and the wildlife garden. They are invited into assembly when their child has a birthday or has been awarded Good Work or Kind Heart certificate.
We hold a range of parents’ workshops to inform parents about aspects of school life and the curriculum and to invite them to work alongside their children for example our Year 2 “Robot Challenge” workshop which is very popular especially with Dads.
We are part of a multi-ethnic community and we hold celebrations for the main faiths represented in school, Harvest, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Easter and Vaisakhi. We invite parents to join us for our special assemblies and often include a performance from a visiting artist.
