Unicef Soccer Aid Playground Challenge - Friday 8th June 2018

On Friday 8th June our school will be hosting our first ever Soccer Aid for Unicef Playground Challenge and we very much hope that you will join us in supporting this active, fun and educational event. It is a great opportunity for our pupils to learn about and raise money for children in other parts of the world.

What is it?

The Soccer Aid Playground Challenge will encourage pupils to kick, bounce or carry a football around an obstacle course they have designed in the school playground, whilst wearing their favourite football or sports kit.

How can you help?

All we ask is that your child pays £1 to come to school wearing their favourite football kit or sports clothes. We will also be selling biscuits at playtime that children can purchase for 25p each, proceeds from the sale of the biscuits will also be donated. To top it all off, the UK government will match every £1 our school raises.

Why are we doing it?

By taking part in this important event, we can help Unicef provide life-saving food and vaccines, as well as life-changing education and support for children around the world.
