Everyone had a great time at the HSA Summer Fair on Friday 30 June. Thankfully, the weather held and it only started to rain about 10 minutes after the fair finished. The theme this year was Harry Potter and there were quite a number of Harry Potters and wizards wandering around the site. There was a Quidditch game in the Junior hall and one of the stalls was selling pencil wands. The sweet stall even sold chocolate frogs!
A really big thank you to the HSA who worked really hard in organising the event and making everything run so smoothly. They raised over £3,000 at the event for the Infant and the Junior SchooI and presented both schools with a £4,000 cheque each from money raised at events that they have kindly organised this year.
If you have any time to spare, the HSA would be really grateful for volunteers to help out with events on the day, or with preparation before or after. The next big event will be the Christmas Fair, so if you are willing to help out in any way, please let the office ladies know.
