Building Work - no access to Reception or Nursery outdoor areas

We sent a letter home with all children on the 27th March to highlight that we will be having some building work completed in the Reception outdoor area in the first weeks of the Summer Term.  Please find below a copy of this letter

We will be starting some external work to the rear of the Infant School, beginning on Monday 13th April, lasting between 8-10 days.  The work is being completed to enhance the outdoor learning environment for the children in the Foundation Stage.  This will mean for at least a week there will be no access to the usual Nursery or Reception outdoor areas, due to Health and Safety.  This will only affect Year 2, Reception and Nursery children.  The children will therefore need to be dropped off and picked up from the following areas at the usual times.

Year 2 – dismissal and collection
All the Year 2 children will need to be dropped off and collected from their external classroom doors on the main path, where they are collected at the end of each day.

Year 1
There is no change to drop off and collection procedures for Year 1 children.

Reception –collection and dismissal
RRA and RJO - main door by the office
RBL and RRG – brown door between 2AM and 2ST on the main path

Nursery – collection and dismissal from the main door by the office

Members of staff will be on hand on Tuesday 14th April to make sure you find your way to the correct places.

We will review the need for these changes on Friday 17th April and keep you informed.

Thank you for your support and patience.
