Hall Green Infant and Nursery School has a very diverse community and one of the ways in which we like to promote understanding and to help celebrate this diversity, is by learning a different language from our school community each half term.

We are into our third year of learning a language each half term and so far the children have enjoyed, French, Urdu, Gujarati, Thai, Sign language (Makaton), Vietnamese (celebrating our international link), and Punjabi. We have also learned Italian to celebrate languages from Europe. We feel that this is an important part of life at Hall Green Infant and Nursery School, so click on the links below and find out more about the languages we have been learning, and get practising at home!
